The practical bits
Installation is plug-and-play, but the heating tunnel is a harsh environment. Make sure the lamp sits flush in the reflector and the socket contacts are clean—misalignment or oxidation will cut its life short. Handle the quartz tube by the metal base only; fingerprints on the tube will create hot spots. Match the emitter to the original wattage and voltage, then run the heater calibration after replacement.
