How it actually works

Our lamps use short-wave infrared (SWIR). Instead of warming the air, the energy goes straight into your tiles and grout. It heats the walls from the inside out, which forces the trapped water to evaporate almost instantly. Think of it as a secondary dehumidifier that lives in your ceiling. It pulls the dampness out of the porous parts of your bathroom and breaks that endless cycle of humidity.
Built for the splash zone
Water and electricity aren’t exactly best friends. That’s why we built these to IPX5 standards. In plain English? You could practically hit these things with a water jet and they wouldn’t blink. We used sealed quartz envelopes and heavy-duty gaskets at the connection points. This keeps the steam from eating away at the wiring, so you don’t have to worry about the unit quitting on you after a few months of steamy showers.
A quick word of caution
Here’s the thing: these lamps pack a serious punch. Because the heat is so concentrated, you can’t just toss them into any old ceiling fixture. Make sure your housing is rated for the wattage. If you put a high-powered lamp in a tiny stall, you’ll dry the room out in seconds, but you might actually overheat the air or warp the plastic housing. Just match the wattage to the size of your room. Do that, and you’ve got a dry, warm bathroom without the headache of replacing your fixtures every year.
