We now use tempered glass shields and silicone seals around the edges.&#xA;This stops something called &amp;ldquo;creepage.&amp;rdquo; That&amp;rsquo;s just a nerdy term for when moisture creates a tiny bridge for electricity to travel where it shouldn&amp;rsquo;t. If that happens, your breaker trips and you&amp;rsquo;re back in the cold. By isolating the electrical bits from the &amp;ldquo;splash zone,&amp;rdquo; the heater stays powerful but safe.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;A few things to keep in mind before you install one&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Here&amp;rsquo;s the catch: you can&amp;rsquo;t just slap these into any ceiling.&#xA;Infrared heat is intense. If you&amp;rsquo;ve got a PVC or cheap plastic ceiling, that concentrated heat can actually warp the material. It’s not pretty. Make sure you leave at least 150mm of breathing room between the heater and any insulation that might catch fire.&#xA;Also, keep in mind that these pull more power than a standard light bulb. Check your wiring first. If your wires are too thin or old, you&amp;rsquo;ll get a voltage drop, and your heater will feel more like a lukewarm &lt;a href=&#34;https://o-yate.com&#34;&gt;breeze&lt;/a&gt; than a cozy sanctuary.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
