Here’s how it actually works
Most heaters push air around. That creates drafts, and the temperature swings wildly. Our system does something else entirely. It emits long-wave infrared radiation. This energy slips past the skin and warms you from the inside out—kind of like how your body naturally makes heat. That encourages peripheral vasodilation, which means better microcirculation. And because it doesn’t rely on rapidly changing the room’s air temperature, it’s easier on seniors.
The guts: why halogen and quartz make a difference
At the heart of it is a halogen-filled quartz tube. This setup lets the filament run hotter and cleaner than standard wire elements, so you get a strong, steady infrared output. The quartz envelope is tough—built to handle thermal shock and the daily wear of real use. We also made it simple to install: it uses a standard R7s base connector, so it’s a straightforward swap for existing fixtures. Then the smart controls step in, modulating power to keep the output in a therapeutic range. No more fixed-wattage units that burn out.

It also generates a lot of localized heat, so proper clearances and thermal management inside the enclosure are essential. You’ll need good ventilation to manage the heat load.
